It seems there are a lot of artists who want to rage at something, or someone. They're not wrong to. There's a lot of artists who want to scream out to someone they love. That's great.

But Mark Gunner thinks differently. Referring to himself as like a musical Wallace & Gromit for the 21st Century, writing and performing acoustic pop on the solo acoustic bass, fans describe Mark Gunner as everything from "a bassy Ed Sheeran" to "a folk Thundercat". Even Mark's YouTube entertainment series, "Mark's Weekly Nonsense", is called that because he gets that how he thinks doesn't make much sense to a lot of people.

But sometimes you've still got to try.

In his new single Show You Love, Mark Gunner speaks into the deep struggles and passion of being part of something bigger than yourself. While we all have groups and places fundamental to our lives, the idea of community is something that we don't really seem to get. Even at the smallest scales little things can get in the way, but there is a powerful underlying passion that leads to the grumbling, imperfect unities that we rely on.
